San Valentine's Day

The last English class, we celebrated the San Valentine's Day. I think that it was very funny. Because, although I don't like this day very much I had a good time with the teacher and the classmates.

We had to write our names in some piece of paper and we had to choose and to write a love poem to our San Valentine's Person.

I gave my poem to San Valentine's day to Cristina, this was my poem:

"When I say I love you, please believe it's true.
When I say forever, know I'll never leave you.
When I say goodbye, promise me you won't cry,
Because the day I'll be saying that will be the day I die."

This was the poem that Joan gave me.
"A million stars up in the sky
one shines brighter I can't deny
A love so precious a love so true
a love that comes from me to you..."

I think that it was a beautiful and charming poem.

I really liked this activity because we had to talk with other mates and to read our poems aloud.

P.D: The teacher takes some pictures and I want to share with you!! :- P

Birdman Film

Last Wednesday, we went to the cinema. We met with some classmates at 8 o'clock near to the Babel cinema. We had a lot of things to do, and we arrived twenty minutes late. When we arrived there were a lot of people waiting on line to buy the ticket. My boyfriend and I, were very lucky  because a classmate bought our tickets.

We saw the film "Birdman", this film talk about a man who is most famous for his movie role from over twenty years ago of the comic book superhero Birdman in the blockbuster movie of the same name. Now, he is trying to improve his career, writing, directing, starring in and co-producing  his Broadway debut,  with 'What We Talk About When We Talk About Love'.

At the end of the film something passed, but I didn't understand, I think that he dies but his daughter smiles.

In my opinion, the film is very strange. I dislike this kind of films, but sometimes is good to see  something different. The most important is see as much as possible English films, and to go out with classmates and practice our English.
